Hello! This is my first post in this website.  I am in an overseas community, but I figure I should post here too!

 

I really like vintage keyboards, specializing in Alps ones, and I'm glad that some people here also like them!  I hope that more people can try them and cherish them in the future.  I know that certain Korean ones exist, and I would like to collect those as well.  As I am overseas, however, it is really difficult.

 

Anyway, here is my Japanese Alps "Trinity". Japanese keyboard and keycaps made by Alps Electric which I cherish the most. （　´∀｀）

    asciiのキーボードが特に素敵です

    Alps SKCL Green is actually pretty easy to find, in my opinion; easy compared to the other Alps parts that I've been looking for, anyway. But the ASCII ASKeyboard with SKCL Green is quite difficult to find, so I felt lucky getting it with them. :)

    I have a Alps brown linear + DK Saver.

    Orange / Yellow + Salamander.

    Zenith ZKB-2

    Amber + Sidewinder.

     

    But I always use cherry. Haha

    I've been trying to get some Alps SKCL Browns (Alps Brown Linears) for a really long time but they just haven't popped up at all... ;( They're really difficult to find here.

    I wanted to use them in a custom keyboard, but I can't use them if I don't have them.

    I also put in a lot of effort to save ALPS BROWN LINEAR. But it didn't work out well.
    I have two IMB-5140s. I bought the ALPS BROWN SKCM because I wanted it, but I can't use it because of the high pressure.

    I use this sa keycap with Amber + Side winder.
    My favorite is orange.

    Oh yeah, I would like to ask you something about that as well.

    Do you mind taking some more detailed pictures of your SA set? I'm trying to document the layout of the board, and with all the sources I have I couldn't document some legends of the keycaps on the left. If you can get some more pictures of those, that'd be awesome. :)

    Here's what I have so far:  (The ## legends are what I need)

    your alps is so good. I want to get some alps blue or brown, but I can't find neither NIB nor good condition :(( enjoy keyboard life :)
