[Letter from Jer]

Hi, I am JER who started J80s GB previously. I come from Qingdao China. Firstly, Special thanks to my friend Keynions to become my J80s GB agent.

 

We have been friends online for 3 years, and he really helped me a lot. He is really a important friend to me, since we first met in 2019 in Korea, and he is really interested in Jer keyboards.

 

Since the GH J80 R2 GB, there are a lot of Korea friends reached Keynions to get an extra J80.

 

Thanks so much for your support. I really enjoy talking and making friends with Korea keyboard enthusiast, and I would be really happy if you can come visit me in Qindao one day. I will have a special gift for you.

 

The early version of J80 made by "EVE" had a lot of problems, and I want to improve it and gift them to the Chinese J80 users.

 

Since then I start the J80s project and my friends are all interested in this project, so I start a limited 15 units GB in China and a 40 units GB in GH (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=105121.0) 2 month ago,

 

I already talked with Keynions and decided to open a special GB for Korea.

 

This special version has a unique NCR colorway that matches G80-3077.

[Key features]

J80s is an upgrade version of J80, so it has similar looks to J80 and same mounting method. It is plateless, the switch directly mount to the Pcb to get better feedback.

 

It has Aluminum LED indicator unit on top right same as G80 cherry keyboard. And you can remove it to add switches.

It now has LEMO style aviator connector plug.

 

2 NCR nameplate with different cnc style, you can fill in colors if you want.

 

Hand polished large stainless-steel weight. It is beautiful and you need to take care of it!

 

New coating method. Color matches G80-3077

 

New titanium screws for mounting covers.

 

Brass weight at back with GB place and unique unit number.

 

[NOTE]

The Stainless-Steel Weight is hand polished to reach the best mirror effect, however some little scratch can be caused by shipping and daily usage.

 

We cannot guarantee 100% perfection due to international shipping and handling. Although most of them can be fixed by wiping with copper wipes, we suggest you using professional polishing tools if there are major scratches.
